DROP Guitar Strap Adjuster

$89.95 USD
Reviews →

DROP connects to your existing guitar strap and lets you change its effective length while you play. Raise or lower the guitar with a press, then release to lock it in place.

A push-button strap adjuster, not a replacement strap. Your guitar stays supported while you change height.

The original DROP mechanism. Invented by guitarist Yoni Amos and protected by a registered patent.

Built for repeated use

  • 3 mm leather
  • Plastic components reinforced with glass fibres for strength
  • Button sized for an easy grip

Built for the stage

Low for the riff. High for the solo.

Move from a low rhythm position to a higher lead position without stopping to readjust your strap. DROP lets you guide your guitar to the height that suits the part you are playing.

How it works

  1. Press the button to release the mechanism.
  2. Guide the guitar to your preferred height while DROP supports the instrument.
  3. Release the button to lock the new position.

Compatibility

For guitars and basses with a standard strap button, standard guitar straps, and standard strap-lock systems. DiMarzio ClipLock straps require the separately sold ClipLock adaptor. Add it alongside your DROP if you use this strap system.

Tested strength

The mechanism has been tested with a 100 kg / 220 lb load. Watch the load test.
